Shepherd's Pie (chicken)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup diced cooked chicken
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup carrots
- ½ cup of onion
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 (10 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup and ½ can of milk
- 4 cups of mashed potatoes
- ¼ cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:
- Fry carrots and onion until carrots are soft.
- Mix soup and milk together.
- Add chicken, carrots, onion, peas, salt, and pepper to the soup,
- Spread mixture into an ungreased 9-inch square pan.
- Add mashed potatoes (if you use leftovers warm them up first) on top of chicken mixture.
- Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 400 F or until top turns golden brown.
